As you watch the video on registering for your investmentbank.com account, please pay particular attention to the various user roles mentioned as outlined below.
Investors
Includes both individual accredited investors and institutional investors like private equity funds, hedge funds, family offices and any fund with total assets under management greater than $50M.
Intermediaries
Intermediaries are typical brokers to a capital transaction. Such brokers could include investment bankers, M&A advisors and/or business brokers. This group typically represents the issuer or investor as an intermediary to the assets or securities being sold in a transaction.
Issuers
Companies are perhaps the most flexible group as they can include security buyers and sellers. Company buyers are often looking for inorganic growth through M&A. Company sellers might include those looking to sell their shares in the business outright, but also may include firms looking to sell debt or equity to investors as a means to raise growth and expansion capital.
