Apply for summer and flex associate and analyst investment banking internships

Investment Banking Internships

As a firm, we are regularly and actively seeking Investment Banking Interns for our extensive internship program. While a background in accounting or finance is not a prerequisite, we do expect our interns to quickly adapt and adhere to the rigors of our internship program and our internal company processes. A strong interest in the industry and our processes is perhaps the greatest qualifier for success as an Investment Banking Intern.

Summer Internships

Our analyst and associate training programs utilize for both undergraduate and graduate-level students for eight to ten weeks. The program includes extensive training in the world of corporate valuation, deal origination, pitch deck creation, merger negotiation and general deal management for buy and sell-side M&A and capital raising for mid-market companies.

Finance and accounting backgrounds are not required, but candidates should be adept at and comfortable with numbers and have basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. All analyst and associate interns will gain extensive exposure to the industry and the inner-workings of complex and interesting transactions.

Our internships range across multiple offices across the United States including New York/New Jersey, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Atlanta, Boston, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Los Vegas and San Francisco. In addition, interns will receive exposure into various markets including real estate, oil & gas, software & technology, manufacturing, mining, financial services, consumer products and retail.

Meaningful, Hands-On Experience

Interns will work alongside Directors and Managing Directors on deals ranging from recapitalizations to large sell-side mandates. These relationships are priceless and help to serve the intern throughout the internship as instructors and mentors. By working directly with senior-level management, interns will receive a hands-on experience as integral members of client deal teams. Each analyst or associate is placed on specific teams and deals with a given emphasis on a target market. This provides the intern with the greatest amount of exposure to a specific niche within the firm, allowing the intern to expand in expertise and proficiency in a given market.

Typical analyst support the deal teams in managing merger, acquisition and capital raising projects through information procurement, spreadsheet analysis, research report drafting and general financial analysis. Both analysts and associates and provided numerous tools, case studies and external assistance to ensure success throughout the process. Performance reviews provide the interns with the ability to measure and improve throughout the time as an intern.

Flex Internships

In addition to our full-time, on-site positions, we also work with candidates who have strong aptitude, work ethic and skill but who require more time flexibility in their work schedule. These candidates often work remotely, fulfilling specific project requirements on a case-by-case basis. While not as well-rounded as the on-site roles, these positions still allow the candidate to gain a great exposure to the process and procedures of investment banking while still providing a flexible work schedule.
